3M™ Angled Sanding Sponge is specifically designed for corner and detail work. The sanding sponge can be used wet or dry and is intended for sanding on wood, paint, metal, plastic or drywall. This medium-grit sponge is great for moderate stripping or surface levelling in preparation for a coating. It features conventional 3M™ Abrasives and is made with durable, flexible foam. Sanding is an integral step in preparing a surface to receive a coating so for the best sanding results, sand with the grain of the surface and work through a sequence of grits, from coarse to very fine, skipping no more than one grit between each sanding step. 3M™ Sanding Sponges are available in medium, fine and extra fine grits. The sponge can be rinsed and reused for cost efficiency.
